Es un hotel muy ocupado, popular en verano y en invierno, su popularidad está aumentando en otoño, en abril-junio, ya que es la mejor época para coger una oferta y disfrutar del cambio de colores en una zona. SE0808(c) Gullivers Travel Associates 2008

This hotel is a bit dated but it's a 5min walk to town and if you have a lake room it is amazing to wake up to! We chose not to book any activities through the hotel (although there are many on offer) as the hotel staff could give advice but actually we felt it was better to speak to the companies. Our room was cleaned every day and we felt really comfortable there We did not have the breakfast as there are so many great cafes in Queenstown it's better to get out there and try them! My only advice would be to get a lake room.
We had a lovely lake view room..yes a bit dated but perfectly fine. We found all the staff very helpful. We thought the breakfast was fine, thoughit could get boringt but we were only there for three days. My biggest complaint was finding our way to our room? we had to catch a series of lifts and negotiate a number of passages which all looked the same....hence the helpful staff came in for direction!! at one point we had three half naked guys tagging on behind us (they had just been to the spa) hoping we knew where we was going... some hope.!!
Awesome stay! Nice roomy hotel rooms they are a good size, lots of room! Wasnt in a lakeview but i didnt really mind not having one! Has spa pools which is great! Great staff! Good location 10 minute walk to town! No valet parking service but that is ok! No wifi throughout hotel! Only other thing would be can very easily get lost, it is a bit hard to find your way around! Apart from that great and great rates as well!
There are only 2 spas which you have to book to use. One was broken and the water was cold. The staff were still letting it out. When we specifically booked the one that works the staff booked us into the wrong one and we returned early from the snow to use it. We were unable to use it and the staff simply said it was not their fault. We were offered no apology or compensation other than a free house wine at their bar. The walls are so thin you can hear people in the next room. Staff rude and unprofessional. Did not even ask how our stay was on checkout. Would never stay here again.
We had booked two inter-connecting rooms facing the lake and stayed here for two nights. There are a lot of nice things about this hotel. Firstly, the view of the lake and the mountains behind, from our rooms, was really worth the additional cost. It was truly like a picture post-card! Secondly, the entire hotel looks very charming and yet cozy. It reminded me of a log cabin! Thirdly, the staff was efficient and helpful. Fourthly, the breakfast was quite sumptuous, though omlettes were not on the buffet and had to be ordered at extra cost! Fifth and most importantly, the hotel is located very close to the main street of Queenstown and is very close to Shotover Street and the Skyline Gondola. If at all I had to bone to pick, it was with the size of the rooms. They could have been larger, but the awesome view of the serene lake and the mountains, the very comfortable bed and the warm heater more than made up for this!
